Why This Workshop Matters Now
Unaccompanied youth are among the most vulnerable—and least understood—populations within the U.S. child welfare landscape. They often face trauma, family separation, cultural barriers, and legal proceedings, all while in the child welfare system. Yet most practitioners receive little to no formal training on their unique needs. This workshop bridges that gap. You'll gain a foundational understanding of the federal child welfare infrastructure serving these youth, learn how their circumstances differ from other immigrant children, and discover concrete, evidence-based approaches that actually work. Whether you're a caseworker, supervisor, administrator, or advocate, you'll walk away with actionable strategies to strengthen your practice and genuinely improve outcomes for the youth and families you serve.
Protect Youth By Transforming Your Practice
This workshop is designed for child welfare professionals who are ready to deepen their understanding and make a real difference. Spaces are limited, and spots fill quickly. Secure your seat today and join a community of practitioners committed to supporting vulnerable youth.
