Melissa is a transracial adoptive parent of two children, the mother of five, and was a foster parent for 15 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and brings over 20 years of experience in education and family support to her work. Raised in a transracial adoptive family herself, Melissa’s passion for supporting caregivers is deeply personal as she helps adoptive, foster, and kinship families build strong connections, navigate challenges, and celebrate the unique strengths of every child and caregiver.
